Modular wall and vertical element formwork system
LIRIA is a wall formwork system designed for the construction of all types of vertical concrete elements with speed, precision and safe assembly. Its modular configuration allows walls, corners, columns and closures to be resolved with fewer on-site complications and a highly repeatable work process.
Its differential value lies in the combination of high resistance, durability and ease of adjustment. The galvanised steel frame protects the phenolic board, withstands intensive use and helps to maintain panel performance over many pours. Furthermore, its modulation logic reduces accessories and minimises timber remedial work, which directly impacts time, organisation and operational cost.
It also stands out for its high adaptability in real site conditions. It can be used in vertical or horizontal assembly, resolve corners for different wall thicknesses, incorporate working platforms and plumbing systems, and even address single-sided wall solutions and climbing formwork. The result is a system ready to grow with the complexity of the project without losing efficiency.
Key benefits of LIRIA
High resistance for demanding applications: the system is designed to withstand concrete loads of up to 70 kN/m², providing safety and stability in high-demand walls.
Superior on-site durability: galvanised steel frames and edge protection of the board help to extend the panel service life and reduce damage from impact, wear or continuous handling.
Less assembly time: panels are connected by waling clamps and the system is designed to allow many accessories to be fitted at ground level before hoisting, speeding up installation.
Fewer accessories and less improvised remedial work: the 3000 × 1500 modulation reduces accessories and decreases timber closures, with cleaner and more controlled execution.
High versatility of use: allows construction of double-sided walls, single-sided walls, corners, column starters and climbing formwork solutions, adapting to different phases and project typologies.
Simple adjustment at junctions and closures: accepts closures of up to 10 cm with sliding clamp and up to 35 cm with a filler panel, facilitating resolution of non-standard dimensions without interrupting the work.
Safety integrated into the system: can incorporate working platforms, guardrails, side closures, working brackets and push-pull props, improving operative protection during concreting, plumbing and stripping.
High-performance formwork face: uses 18 mm Finnish birch phenolic plywood with a phenolic film for good reuse capacity and resistance to normal site wear.
Greater alignment precision: push-pull prop systems and alignment braces allow rapid plumbing and absorb thrust, wind loads and adjustment forces during assembly.
Optimised transport and hoisting: a specific lifting hook is available for safe movement of panel assemblies, enabling more agile work with large-size units.
Compatible with tall wall solutions: in single-sided wall configurations it incorporates different waling frame sizes as required, from solutions for 3 m up to systems for 8.4 m in height, greatly extending its field of application.
Operational reuse and easy maintenance: the manual sets out a clear stripping, phenolic face cleaning and recommissioning sequence, helping to maintain the material rotation rate.
Main components and accessories
LIRIA panels
The core of the system. They comprise a galvanised steel frame and protected phenolic board, and are supplied in various dimensions to adapt to walls, columns, corners and closures.
Standard clamp and sliding clamp
Allow rapid panel connection. The sliding clamp is particularly useful for resolving closures and dimension adjustments without resorting to slower or less clean solutions.
Dywidag bars and nuts
The elements that secure the tie and fixing of the assembly. They enable the system to remain stable during concreting and allow rapid accessory installation.
Walings
Reinforce and align the system in different configurations. Particularly useful for column starters, adjustments and assemblies where stiffening of the assembly is required.
Internal, external and articulated corners
Allow wall junctions to be resolved cleanly and adaptably for different thicknesses, avoiding improvisation and improving geometric accuracy.
Lifting hook
Specific accessory for hoisting individual panels or panel assemblies, designed for safe movement of large elements with greater control.
Single-sided wall waling frames
Accessories for single-sided wall applications. Depending on wall height, they resolve applications from more standard configurations up to high-demand configurations.
Applications of LIRIA
LIRIA is primarily used for:
- Vertical concrete walls.
- Double-sided walls.
- Single-sided walls.
- Columns and column starters.
- Internal and external corners.
- Wall closures and variable geometry finishing strips.
- Construction with climbing formwork solutions.
- Projects requiring rapid assembly, high reuse potential and safety in work at height.
