Safe, robust and versatile shoring
PROPS are designed to provide safe, robust and versatile shoring on site. They are a practical solution for temporary support work where rapid adjustment, stability and compatibility with different formwork systems are required.
Their primary advantage is the combination of lightweight design with high load capacity, allowing different working heights to be covered without complicating handling. This enables more agile installation, reduces adjustment times and improves productivity in repetitive assembly and stripping tasks.
Furthermore, they are designed for intensive and safe use. They incorporate anti-crush, anti-disengagement and quick-release systems, together with a hot-dip galvanised finish that improves durability against wear and demanding site conditions.
Key benefits of the PROPS
High resistance for demanding shoring tasks: both models are designed to work with high loads, providing reliable support across different extension ranges.
Fast and precise height adjustment: the inner tube perforated at 100 mm centres allows the prop to be regulated easily and quickly adapted to different site requirements.
Enhanced operative safety: incorporates an anti-crush system that maintains 10 cm clearance when closing, helping to protect hands during handling.
Protection against accidental opening: the anti-disengagement system prevents unintentional withdrawal of the inner tube and improves safety during use.
More agile stripping: fitted with a quick-release system, a clear advantage for saving time during stripping and reducing on-site effort.
Superior durability: hot-dip galvanising protects the steel against wear and extends the prop service life under intensive use conditions.
Well-balanced lightweight design: offers a balanced combination of low weight and structural capacity, facilitating handling without compromising performance.
Wide working range: models cover extensions from approximately 1.80 m to 4.00 m, adapting to different heights and shoring configurations.
Compatibility with other systems: compatible with most standard accessories from other formwork systems, facilitating integration with existing plant inventories.
Options for different site requirements: the range includes various SFR and SZ models, allowing selection of the most appropriate solution by maximum height, weight and required load.
Robust and reliable design: operate with a 48 × 2 mm inner tube and 58 × 2 mm outer tube, a configuration designed to provide stability and resistance in service.
Functional maintenance and simple operation: both the wide-pitch thread with forged steel handle on the SFR model and the rolled outer thread with self-cleaning nut on the SZ model are designed to facilitate daily adjustment and maintain smooth operation.
Applications of the PROPS
PROPS steel props are primarily used for:
- Shoring in formwork systems.
- Temporary support for floor slabs and horizontal structures.
- Assembly and stripping operations.
- Projects requiring rapid height adjustment.
- Projects with different shoring levels.
- Environments where safety, durability and compatibility with other site systems are required.
