Lightweight, strength and speed in vertical formwork
ALKES Alu Wall is a vertical aluminium formwork system designed for wall construction in residential buildings. Its primary advantage is the combination of lightweight handling, structural strength and rapid stripping and assembly, enabling a more agile workflow without compromising safety.
Thanks to its hand-carried panel design, panels can be repositioned on site without crane dependency, reducing the need for auxiliary equipment and improving crew productivity. The panel-to-panel connection via waling clamps simplifies assembly and ensures precise alignment throughout.
The system is engineered to withstand fresh concrete pressures of up to 90 kN/m², providing a reliable solution for demanding wall pours. Panels are fitted with 15 mm phenolic-coated plywood with a 220 g/m² film surface, designed to deliver durability and a high-quality concrete finish.
Key benefits of ALKES Alu Wall
Lightweight and easy to handle: at approximately 23 kg/m², the system enables effortless panel movement on site and a faster, more agile assembly sequence.
Fast and straightforward assembly: panel-to-panel connection via fixed, adjustable and reinforced waling clamps allows rapid progress while maintaining alignment and reducing non-productive time.
High resistance during concreting: the system withstands fresh concrete pressures of up to 90 kN/m², ensuring safety and reliability in wall execution.
Durable panels: manufactured in aluminium and fitted with 15 mm phenolic-coated plywood with a 220 g/m² film surface, designed to withstand intensive site use.
High modular versatility: available in panel heights of 2.70 m and 1.50 m, with widths ranging from 1.20 m down to 0.20 m, allowing adaptation to a wide range of wall geometries.
Cost-effective solution for residential construction: rapid assembly, reduced handling effort and ease of use help to optimise on-site resources.
Precise corner formation: the system resolves 90° corners, non-standard angles and T-junctions, adapting to different wall thicknesses and configurations.
Enhanced safety during concreting: the integration of working platforms and guardrail systems provides a more protected working environment for operatives.
Controlled plumbing and stability: push-pull props and alignment braces keep panels correctly aligned and stable during assembly and concreting.
Main components and accessories
The ALKES Alu Wall system comprises modular panels and accessories designed to facilitate assembly, alignment, anchoring and safety during wall execution.
Wall panels
Main panels for standard-height walls, available in various heights and widths. Primary panels for standard wall heights, available in different heights and widths. Frames are designed to facilitate column formation.
Waling clamps
Connects and aligns consecutive panels quickly and securely.
Alkes Alu lifting hook
Allows panels to be moved by crane where the configuration or volume of work requires it.
L-250 Alu tie rod anchor
Used to secure panels during column and corner formation.
Alkes Alu PVC cone
Seals unused tie holes in the panel, helping to maintain a clean and functional finish.
Alkes Alu working bracket / working platform
Creates a safe walkway platform for concreting operations.
Alkes Alu guardrail
Provides edge protection in elevated working areas.
Applications of ALKES Alu Wall
ALKES Alu Wall is primarily used for wall construction in residential buildings where a lightweight, fast and safe formwork system is required.
It is particularly suitable for:
- Concrete walls in residential construction.
- Foundations and wall starters.
- Straight walls with repetitive panel layouts.
- 90° corners and T-junctions.
- Walls with non-standard angles using adjustable corner units.
- Column formation with purpose-designed panels.
- Projects requiring agile manual assembly and reduced execution times.
- Projects where a strong, cost-effective and easily adaptable site solution is required.
